Proposal to Implement QR Codes for the Company Metal Print

The Metal Print Company, located in Cuenca, Ecuador; is dedicated to the manufacture of metal objects. Every manufacturing company generates movements of products along its production line. One of the critical points has no control over the process, in addition to the study of times, movements and inventories within the organization. The use of Information Technology (IT) highlights the optimization of different resources; in this way, the proposal is: implement QR codes to achieve control throughout the production chain. The required proposal must be simulated in an open source software: Bonita, which allows to visually model the processes; dragging, dropping and configuring business logic. Following the pi-lot tests in Bonita, it will be possible to determine if program works and helps to correct encoding failures. The use of business technologies helps to improve the quality and efficiency of production, however it should be considered that to obtain benefits.
