Application of particle filter in initiation control delay algorithm of imaging-ranging integrated fuze

In the stage of missile target rendezvous, if only the angle information of infrared imaging synthetic fuze is used to estimate the delay time of initiation, the estimation error is large, which puts forward higher requirements for angle measurement. This problem can be solved by installing a laser rangefinder which rotates coaxially with the infrared imaging seeker to measure the distance between the missile and the target. In order to meet the needs of the actual battlefield and improve the accuracy of delay time estimation, it is particularly important to filter the measured data. The application of PF filtering algorithm in the estimation of detonation delay time is studied. The algorithm uses a group of particles to approximate the posterior probability distribution of the state of the model system, and combines with the observation value at the next moment to approximate the state quantity of the nonlinear system, so as to improve the accuracy of the system. Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively improve the estimation accuracy of initiation delay.
