Resource Allocation in THz Unmanned Aerial Vehicles-based Heterogeneous Networks

The quick development of consumer Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Terahertz (THz) technology are emerging technologies that can provide seamless data transfer. In this paper, the deployment of UAVs that exists with a terrestrial heterogeneous network (HetNet) in the Terahertz frequency band is investigated. Since the UAV is an energy-constrained gadget for offloading the cellular activity, the optimization issue is defined to minimize generally energy utilization of the UAV-based HetNet whereas fulfilling the quality of service (QoS) conditions of mobile hubs by utilizing a weighted power allocation scheme. Numerical results show the difference between the UAV and Terrestrial Base Station (TBS) such that data rate of UAV is 37.5 Terabits per second (Tbps) and for the TBS is 22.5 Tbps for the same Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR). By adapting to the power allocation strategy, it can be seen that the energy that is consumed by both UAV and TBS reaches its minimum value when proportional weight at 0.6.
