The application prospects of NB-IoT in intelligent transportation

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network that realizes the interconnection of people, machines, and things at anytime and anywhere, and the Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is an important branch of this Internet of Things. NB- IoT has the characteristics of wide coverage, massive connections, ultra-low power consumption, and ultra-low cost. Due to the above advantages of NB-IoT technology, the application of this technology in the field of intelligent transportation can fundamentally reduce traffic congestion and accidents. This article analyzes and introduces an intelligent transportation system based on NB-IoT technology, as well as some applications of NB-IoT in the field of intelligent transportation, and finally analyzes the advantages and future expectations of NB-IoT technology.
