Design of a small hilly orchard UAV detection system based on OpenMV

Orchard planting plays an increasingly important role in agricultural development and farmers' income. However, in recent years, orchard fires often occur, causing serious losses to farmers, and years of hard work are in vain. Orchard safety detection is becoming more and more important, and the traditional orchard detection method requires a lot of manpower and material resources, which most farmers can not afford. At present, the smart agricultural equipment on the market has some disadvantages, such as the sensor volume is too large, the installation price is expensive. In view of the above situation, this paper designs a small UAV daily detection system suitable for hilly orchards based on OpenMV technology. The system is composed of software app and hardware. It has many advantages, such as multi-function, simple operation, low cost and wide users. Its functions include agricultural product dynamics, orchard plant diseases and insect pests control knowledge, text broadcast, farmers mutual aid forum, image transmission, environmental data detection, automatic marking of mountain fire and other abnormal situations, aiming at providing the most intimate service for the farmers.
