Exploration and Calculation of Very Fine Geodetic Model for DC Grounding Electrodes, Part II: Validation and Application

At present, there are still some technical difficulties in the application of methods, data interpretation and inversion solutions in DC ground earth resistivity exploration, which give rise to a number of technical problems. The design and operation of DC grounding electrodes and the assessment of their adverse effects on the surrounding environment bring considerable difficulties and uncertainties in their realization. The technical characteristics of five geologic exploration methods applied to fine geodetic electrical exploration are first compared, and the linear filtering considering depth of burial and the transmission line model has been proposed to solve the problem of high theoretical difficulty and complicated algorithm in solving the fine earth model of the horizontal layered DC grounding pole, and a validated case is presented. Secondly, a four-point method and controlled-source audio geo-electromagnetic method are jointly applied to correct static effects for fine geoelectric exploration scheme is proposed. Adding four-point inversion to the magnetic exploration inversion objective function to obtain the constraints of the shallow electrical model effectively implements a DC grounding electrode site. The static effects of the magnetic method of exploration have been corrected and validated by potential fitting method and electrical logging methods, respectively, which provide references for ground resistivity exploration and inversion.
