Detection of Decomposition Products of C4F7N/CO2 Mixed Gas Based on FTIR

In order to ensure the reliable application of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
mixed gas power equipment in the future, a research on the decomposition characteristics of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
mixed gas has been carried out in this paper. The early local overheating failure of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
mixed gas power equipment was simulated by the overheating decomposition experiment platform, and the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) platform was built to study the detection of decomposition products. The FTIR and gas chromatography-mass spectrometer are used to detected the mixed gas before and after the overheating experiment, which can improve the efficiency of infrared qualitative analysis of the decomposition products of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
. 300 ppm C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
mixed gas is heated at 500°C for 10h under the pressure of 0.100 MPa, the thermal decomposition products of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
detected by FTIR include CO and C
3
F
6
. The infrared absorption of CO is concentrated in the 2000~2220 cm
^-1
. The infrared absorption of C
3
F
6
is concentrated in the 1000~1100 cm
^-1
and 1780~1820 cm
^-1
. Relevant research results can provide references for fault diagnosis of C
4
F
7
N/CO
2
mixed gas power equipment based on infrared spectroscopy technology.
