Conceptual framework for the role of information technology in developing a knowledge management system

Knowledge management (KM) is an important tool for companies to innovate and challenge in the free market. The progress in technology and in particular the information technology that contributes to creating a great opportunity for the success and development of knowledge management System (KMS) through an information technology (IT) model and the development of the processes and measures necessary for the development of KMS. The curriculum, main processes and control factors are studied and then a new formulation of the knowledge foundations aimed at developing KMS and subsystems (approach, planning And information) and the importance of information technology, the concepts adopted in KMS have been re-clarified: namely (knowledge management for research and development, management of innovation platform, expansion of the knowledge base, distribution and use, and identification of problems and obstacles). The role of information technology in reformulating those concepts to develop knowledge management, as well as highlighting the advantages of IT that it achieves in the knowledge management system.
