RoI Editing Tool Using AI for Radiotherapy Simulation

Radiation simulations have been widely used in high energy physics, nuclear physics, accelerator physics, medical science, and space science. Geant4 is one of powerful radiation simulators for Monte Carlo radiation simulations. It simulates passages of particles through matter and generates physical quantities in detectors, equipment or a human body. Visualization software, gMocren, for Geant4-based radiotherapy simulations has been developed and released. It is capable of drawing patient volume data such as DICOM dataset taken in CT, particle trajectories, scored physical quantities in a patient volume, and radiation delivery equipment in simulation. An RoI (region of interest) editing software tool using NVIDIA Clara has been developing. It supports extracting tumor or organ regions using an artificial intelligence from medical image data such as DICOM dataset and editing the RoIs for radiotherapy simulation. It is useful to create RoIs and a DVH (dose volume histogram) for Geant4-based radiotherapy simulation.
