The Systematic Approach for Estimating the Potential Increase of Measurement Results Accuracy Achieved by the Use of Dependencies between Measurands

This paper discusses the problem of measurement accuracy potential increase that may be achieved if the dependencies between measurands are known. The final refinement is determined by the uncertainty of performed measurements and the mathematical model of corresponded measurands interrelations. Useful expressions for estimating the potential accuracy increase are derived as well as expressions for refined measurement results. The examples for several measurement problems are shown.
