Ideas for the Development of Electromagnetic Compatibility in Argentina

This work describes a proposal for the implementation of a gradual action plan that could help developing the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) regulation in Argentina. The generation of a broader regulated field should be implemented gradually. In this context, the State should support the industry and generate policies and subsidies to upgrade the facilities of the current laboratories, as well as the creation of new laboratories to absorb the industry demand. It would be important to achieve an adequate articulation between all interested and affected parts, so the requirements that would be demanded in future regulations could be evaluated in a laboratory effectively. This is expected to have a positive impact on the national industry.It is also essential to widely develop this discipline in the country, so some guidelines and considerations are described to enhance the academy in reference to EMC. This is an extremely complex activity, and it would be very necessary to have qualified professionals in this area.
