Study of movement of 125 mm tank cannon recoiling parts

The purpose of the paper is to analyze and evaluate the working process of the recoil mechanism and its effect on the operation of the gun. Experiments were worked out on the 2A46 cannon of the tank T72. The obtained results can be used to verify dynamic model of the T72 tank cannon recoil device and will be applied to the use not only of HE projectiles, but for example for new sub-caliber projectiles.
