Analysis of components of the heat flow path in forced cooling systems

This paper concerns the problem of the analysis of properties of the components of a heat flow path in forced cooling systems. Using classical compact thermal model, thermal properties of selected configurations of such systems are characterized. The influence of selected factors on thermal resistances and thermal capacitances occurring in this model are analyzed. Some analytical formulas describing these dependences are proposed. The practical usefulness of these formulas is verified experimentally for selected configurations of forced cooling systems.
