The Spectral Quality Factor of the Sensory Elements of the Nanosensors Based on the Surface Plasmonic Resonance

The optical properties of the spherical metallic nanoparticles, which can be used as the sensory elements of the sensors on the surface plasmonic resonance, have been studied. The calculations have been performed for the monometallic and bimetallic particles. The practical recommendations as for the optimum choice of the content and the morphology of the nanoparticles for the production of the sensory elements of the mentioned nanosensors have been given.
