Research on the Application of 5G Cloud-network-edge-device Convergence and Intelligent Video Technology in Smart Grid

Smart grid is the development direction of electric power grid transmission, transformation and distribution business. The development of Internet of Things technology promotes the process of smart grid. In order to solve the problem of massive data transmission, processing and decision-making brought by the intelligent of the electric power grid, this paper relies on the 5G communication network to build an industrial cloud-edge collaboration architecture based on the cloud native architecture. Aiming at electric power scenarios, deploy visual data set capabilities, high-definition intelligent video analysis basic algorithm libraries and visual cognitive atomic capabilities sets on the cloud-edge collaboration architecture to build an intelligent detection system for transmission and distribution services, which improves the ability, speed of high-definition video analysis, recognition, and increase the accuracy of smart grid detection.
