Study On Dissociation Characteristics of EP Under Different Temperature Conditions and PD Active Products Based On ReaxFF

The Bisphenol F epoxy resin insulation material commonly used in the terminal of superconducting power equipment is subjected to large temperature gradient and strong electric field at the same time, which makes the insulation material at the terminal equipment withstand more intense partial discharge (PD), and the reliability of the insulation material decreases. In this paper, reactive force field (ReaxFF) is used to study the aging pyrolysis characteristics of crosslinked bisphenol F epoxy resin for superconducting power equipment under different PD active products and temperatures conditions. The simulation results show that the pyrolysis degree of epoxy resin increases with the increase of PD active product concentration, and the initial pyrolysis temperature increases with the increase of temperature rise rate. The active product acting on the hydroxyl group on the cross-linked structure is the main reason for the decrease in the thermal stability of the epoxy resin, which will result in a substantial increase in the yield of the pyrolysis product with a smaller relative molecular mass and aggravate the thermal aging of insulating materials.
