A Common Information Model Integration in a Graph Database for LV Terminal Distribution Networks with PLC-based Smart Meters

In this paper a common information data model representing European style low voltage terminal distribution networks is adapted to be used and embedded in a graph-based database. The final purpose of the use of this data model is the real time management of these kind of networks. At this moment, most of the European countries already deployed a Smart Meter based measurement systems in nearly all customers. In many countries, like Spain, the communication system of the Smart Meters is based in the so called power line communication technology. The special features of the European low voltage networks, together with the communication system are considered to optimise the data storage, management and pre/post-processing of the data.
