Method of Nulls Forming in Radiation Pattern of Special Kind for Large Active Phased Antenna Arrays Using Properties of Hermitian Forms Ratio

A novel technique is suggested for nulls forming in radiation pattern (RP) of special kind for large active phased antenna arrays (APAA). In accordance with this technique the optimization problem is solved relatively subarrays when keeping the form of radiation pattern. The comparison of two methods of nulls forming is presented including proposed subarrays method and element-by-element method. It is shown that subarrays method is faster at more than an order in comparison with the element-by-element method. So, the subarrays method is preferable in the case of on-line control of APAA.
