Design and Analysis of Soft Gripper for Pick and Place Operations in Food and Agricultural Industries

Soft gripping is a promising way to protect fruits and vegetables from grip damage caused due to high stress and helps to grasp uneven objects with different texture. This paper is based on design and analysis of three fingered soft pneumatic gripper made of nitrile rubber for pick and place operation in food and agricultural industries. Design and analysis of soft pneumatic gripper is done using SolidWorks and Ansys software.
