Optimal Design of Fractional-order Low-pass Filter Using L2-method

This paper presents new integer-order approximations for the fractional-order low-pass analogue filter. The pro-posed designs are obtained after optimizing the L
2
-norm based fitness function by Ant Lion Optimizer, Grey Wolf Optimizer, and Bat Algorithm. Simulations are done to validate the proposed designs, which results in improved accuracy in terms of low mean squared error.
