Research on control strategy of retired battery cascade utilization in 5g base station

This paper demonstrates the feasibility of applying retired electric vehicle batteries to the backup power supply system of tower base stations, and designs the corresponding battery pack installation capacity calculation method and control strategy, combined with the tower company’s experimental site for verification. The control strategy of charging and discharging twice a day and charging and discharging twice a day yields economic indicators such as investment payback period, investment amount, average annual income, annual average cost, and annual average profit for different capacities under the above control strategy. The optimal capacity allocation of 5g communication base station is obtained.
