Feasibility Study of Force Feedback in Gear Transmission Fault Monitoring

The influence law of gear defect on transmission accuracy is studied. The virtual prototype model of the gear transmission system was built by using SolidWorks and ADAMS software. Internal excitations such as meshing stiffness, friction and damping during gear transmission are considered. The simulation parameters are reasonably set by using virtual prototype technology. The simulation analysis experiments are carried out by using ADAMS software. The normal, broken teeth and pitting conditions of spur gears in a certain transmission ratio are analyzed. The dynamic force variation law of gear shaft is studied. The results show that under the condition of broken tooth, the load of input shaft rises, and then drops to a low value for a period of time. Under the pitting condition, the load of input shaft increases greatly. The rise degree of pitting conditions is different. The research contents provide a feasible basis for early fault diagnosis of gear transmission system.
