Discussion on tensor analyses and linear network theory

Austen Stigant (communicated): I welcome the appearance of this paper because it shows that there is, at least, a small kernel of activity in South Africa in the field of engineering applications of matrix and tensor analysis, and in giving a brief insight to the power of the method as Mr Braae has done (particularly where intricate circuits are concerned) I hope that other mathematically-minded engineers in South Africa will take up what is not only an absorbing study but also one of extreme practical value.
