Research on the Impact of Developmental HRM Practices to Employee Innovation Behavior Based on Mplus 8.0 and SPSS 21.0

How to stimulate employee innovative behavior from the perspective of human resource management practice has always been a hot issue of concern for organizational human resource managers. Based on Mplus 8.0 and SPSS 21.0, and through regression analysis on 342 employee-leader matching questionnaire data, this paper explores the mechanism of developmental human resource practice on employee innovative behaviors, examines the mediating role of career adaptability. Results showed that developmental human resource practices have a significant positive impact on innovation behavior, and career adaptability plays a part of the mediating role in the relationship between them. These findings suggest that organizations and managers promote employee innovation by implementing development-oriented HR policies and practices that focus on employee personal career growth needs, improve employee career adaptability.
