A Review on Convolutional Neural Networks for Skin Lesion Classification

Skin Diseases not only impact the overall look of a person but visible skin diseases like vitiligo, colored patches affect the person psychologically. Machine Learning has been used in many areas from last few years in the field of medicine. CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) is considered to be a better option for the image classification task and it gives better accuracy and precision than human. In this paper, we are going to provide a structured study of recent research works on the skin lesion classification which used CNN models. This review mentioned various models according to their accuracy, precision and many other factors. We have compared accuracy, precision, recall and validation-score of 13 different CNN based classification models.
