The klingenberg power station. in Berlin

(Member): I have found Mr. Feldman's paper of exceptional interest because, apart from its able description of a modern super station, we have been operating a power station designed by Dr. Klingenberg for the last fifteen years, and it is a fascinating study to compare Dr. Klingenberg's ideas, as represented by the Vereeniging Power Station built in 1911, with the new Berlin Power Station completed this year. I have studied the paper entirely from the point of view of the electrical layout, which presents features of sufficient interest to occupy all the time a single member may be permitted to devote to the discussion of a paper.
