I wish to thank the President and Council of this Institute for the opportunity of listening to Mr, Malan's very interesting paper, and also for the invitation to contribute to the discussion on this important installation. It will be evident that no expense has been spared by the Commission and the Corporation in providing equipment to measure this important load, and it is perhaps only natural that one should hesitate in criticising a scheme that has been prepared by such a reputable manufacturer as that responsible for the design and provision of the equipment.
