Graphic Synthesis of the Operating Physical Principle of Control and Measuring Devices

The article discusses the search method of the operating physical principle of instrumentation. The method is based on inventive principles. A prototype patent for the control and measuring device is known. Then a block diagram of the prototype is drawn up. It consists of a chain of physical effects used in technical creativity. Physical effects are the nodes of the graph, and the inputs and outputs of the effects are the branches of the graph. The analysis of the prototype graph and the synthesis of the new graph are carried out in the two-dimensional vector space of the Bartini LT-system of kinematic quantities. The vectors are the branches of the directed graph. The coordinates of the vectors depend on the physical dimensions of the inputs and outputs of the graph nodes. The first coordinate is equal to the exponent at the base unit of length (L), and the second coordinate is equal to the exponent at the base unit of time (T). The node vector is called the eigenvector of the physical effect. The eigenvectors are included in the database of known physical effects. Graph analysis is a calculation of its resource capacity, which is equal to the sum of the resource intensity of its nodes. The resource capacity of the node is equal to the Euclidean norm of the eigenvector of the physical effect. The resource capacity is calculated according to the simulation scheme of the operationg physical principle. The problem of the synthesis of the operationg physical principle is posed as an extreme problem. The input and output values of the measuring device are given by eigenvectors. It is necessary to find a graph of minimal resource capacity that differs from the prototype graph by at least one physical effect. The graphical solution of the extreme problem is shown on the LT-plane.
