Trajectory Control Algorithms for Unmanned Aircraft Complexes Flying in Formation

Nowadays unmanned aircraft complexes (UAC) are applied for solving numerous scientific applied problems. One of the major points of efficient UAC use is trajectory control when flying in formation. The authors of the article propose trajectory control algorithms based on statistical theory of optimal control. Simulated statistical modelling was carried out and a comparative analysis of the synthesized algorithms was performed. The modelling showed that, in implementing the algorithm for optimal trajectory control on the basis of maximum observability, minimum possible errors of position-fixing could be obtained at any time.
