Construction of Asynchronous Cell-Automatic Model for Research the Thermal Mass Transfer Process

This work is devoted to the study changes in temperature and moisture content in anisotropic materials using cellular automata. To do this, in this paper the developed model of asynchronous cellular automata, which makes it possible to change the numerical values of cells that selected randomly, is described. In this case, the new values used as input data when we calculate the values of neighboring cells. After that an experiment by using this model was performed. Then a numerical solution of a similar problem was performed. In this case, we use an explicit difference scheme and a three-dimensional mathematical model. This model is described by using a system of differential equations in partial derivatives in spatial coordinates and time. To verify the adequacy of the results, the average absolute error was determined. The obtained error value allows us to determine the feasibility of using cellular automata in solving such problems of thermal conductivity.
