Development of a Remote Patient Monitoring Device for the Detection of Fainting and Critical Condition

Due to today's current conditions, it is necessary to remotely monitor a very large number of patients. Telemedicine and the medical offices dedicated to the family request the interaction without close contact. The practical realization of a system for monitoring fainting and critical conditions for elderly patients is a mandatory requirement nowadays. The device was developed and validated by a team of our researchers and now we are trying to implement the web interaction system. The article will review the relevant aspects of the practical realization and the main challenges due to the measurements and experimental validation of the device.
