Solar Tracking System for Several Groups of Solar Panels

Solar tracking systems have proven their effectiveness and thereby justified their cost price. They orient solar panels and increase the conversion of solar energy into electricity. Positioning systems work based on different methods and principles. In most cases they are individual systems attached to a single solar panel array. This paper presents a proposal for a system to control the solar orientation of a virtually unlimited group of solar panels located in the same geographical area. It allows orientation along two axes, with reduced costs due to the own consumption of the orientation motors.
