Multiagent Approach of the Demand Side Management Within the Microgrids

The article presents a study of algorithms for intelligent microgrid management based on mutiagent technologies. Aspects of building a mutiagent system are considered for demand response management tasks. The ideas of mutiagent control systems are considered in relation to the concept of the Internet of energy. The classification of methods and models of demand management is given. An individual reasoning scheme of an intelligent agent is proposed for building a control system. An algorithm for optimizing energy flows in microgrids based on mutiagent systems is proposed which implements competitive equilibrium based on linear programming models using the auction method. The problem statement of load planning with the help of decentralized mutiagent optimization is considered. The main idea of the algorithm is a centralized bidding process where a central energy demand aggregator sets initial energy prices and then intelligent agents achieve competitive equilibrium in a distributed manner through a series of bids with an increase in price. Minimization of the global target function is achieved through communication between agents. The proposed algorithm guarantees the achievement of a competitive equilibrium in the energy market within the framework of microgrids. The distinctive advantage of the above algorithm is the convergence on large input data, simplicity, and the ability to achieve a competitive equilibrium in the energy market.
