An Improved Track Before Detect Algorithm with Local Operator

Aiming at the problem that the Track Before Detect (TBD) algorithm based on Hough Transform (HT) cannot start the weak target effectively when there is a strong target, this paper proposes an HT-TBD algorithm that improves the accumulation method through a local operator. Using the peak clustering phenomenon that appears in the traditional accumulation method, the relative accumulation value of strong and weak targets is used as the new accumulation matrix to reduce the difference in accumulation results. Monte Carlo simulation shows that the algorithm in this paper can effectively eliminate the influence of strong targets on weak targets.
