Abstract:

The WLTC cycle emission test and RDE tests under three different altitude are conducted for a hybrid electric vehicle, the test results and the pollutant emission characteristics are analyzed. The test results show that the emission is worse when the vehicle is on highland, meanwhile the difference and principle between MAW and arithmetic mean method to process RDE test data are investigated. The main differences between RDE and WLTC cycle are compared, that the engine almost reached the full operation points in the RDE test is indicated, so it should be given global attention for the emission development of a vehicle to meet China 6.
