Anti-aging and Dielectric Performance of Synthetic Tri-ester Blended with Natural Ester

In this study, the medium-chain fatty acid tri-ester (MATE) is synthesized to eliminate the influence of C=C and β-H atoms on anti-aging ability, but the dielectric loss of MATE is higher than natural ester. Therefore, blended ester insulating oil of MATE/refined rapeseed oil (RRSO) is prepared to synergistically optimize anti-aging and dielectric performance. The physicochemical performance test, dielectric performance test and thermal aging experiment represent this blended ester insulating oil has potent anti-aging ability, low dielectric loss, high breakdown voltage and ideal physicochemical performance.
