The Pulse Energy Converters in the Systems of Ignition, Electrical Supply and Electric Car Accessories

This article deals with the issue of adapting the car's power supply system to changing operating conditions. Currently, the electrical system of the car is built in such a way that all consumers are connected in parallel to the on-board network of the car. Hence, various electrical system of the vehicle exerts a mutual influence through a shared power source that is not conducive to the high noise immunity and electrical system have a mutual influence, which reduces the quality and reliability of electrical equipment as a whole. Therefore, there is a problem of excluding such influence. In addition, it is necessary that each consumer change the supply voltage in accordance with the established laws, i. e. the voltage must depend on the operating modes of the consumer as well as the internal combustion engine, the ambient temperature and a significant number of other parameters. It has been demonstrated that when we deal with various electrical equipment systems of a motor vehicle the problems of adaptation can be to a certain extent resolved by using pulse-controlled energy converters which allow to change the voltage supply to each system of electrical equipment (each consumer of electrical energy) individually, according to an above-determined law. Such a `separate' power supply of consumers allows for every electrical equipment part to operate in a rational mode, and also to increase the reliability of electrical equipment as a whole, since the reliability of modern controlled converters of electric energy parameters is very high, and their efficiency usually exceeds 90%. The paper considers and presents the results of an experimental study of the following systems of electrical equipment of the car, such as ignition systems, power supply systems, other cars' electrical equipment systems are casually affected.
