Estimation of Electric Load Graphs Correlation by the Principal Components of the Orthogonal Decomposition

Methods for estimating the contribution of the cross-correlation of electric load graphs to the dispersion of the sum graph and modeling the sum graph using the orthogonal decomposition of the principal component analysis in space, the dimension of which is equal to the number of individual electric load graphs, are described. Calculation formulas are proposed to take into account the cross-correlation of individual electrical load graphs using uncorrelated principal components. To model the sum of the electric load graph, it is proposed to use component models of individual electric load graphs, which makes it easier to estimate the total contribution of the cross-correlation of individual electric load graphs to the dispersion of the sum graph. It is shown with examples of calculations that the number of component models of individual load graphs taken into account is determined by the required accuracy of modeling the sum graph and can be no more than three.
