Calculation of the Parameters of Modules in Systems in Computer-Aided Design of Electronic Devices

The article presents a decision-making system in the field of computer-aided design of electronics - DEM_CAD, which allows the designer to make a predictive assessment of the parameters of modules in the design process; explore the interdependence of metric and topological parameters of modules; make a choice of a basic design solution from a variety of rational alternatives. The main principles of DEM_CAD software development are compatibility, system unity, standardization and the possibility of development. The stages of functioning of the DEM_CAD system are listed. The interface of the DEM_CAD system and graphs are shown, illustrating examples of changing one of the output parameters of the electronic computing equipment module, depending on various input data. A description of the models for the predictive assessment of metric and topological parameters for modules of electronic computing equipment (ECE-module) is given: estimates of the average length of inter-element connections, estimates of the length of semi-perimeters in the zones of implementation of chains and the total area of zones in the implementation of chains, predictive assessment of the overall dimensions structural and functional module. The developed software and mathematical apparatus can be used in integrated systems for computer-aided design of electronic devices and in the educational process.
