Design Application of Smart Kitchen for Aging Based on Interactive Behavior Analysis

Numerous data indicate that China has entered an aging society. With the acceleration of the pace of life, it has become a trend for the elderly to live alone at home and the kitchen would be the most frequently used place in home. This article starts from the current status of the elderly at home and focuses on kitchen design. In view of the current situation and needs of the elderly's kitchen use, this article gives design suggestions from three perspectives, which are development background, kitchen design status and future development direction. It is hoped that through the research, the level and intensity of the construction of smart kitchens suitable for the elderly can be further strengthened. This article would also effectively help the government and the people to solve elderly home care problem, improve the elderly living standards and home safety and reduced the pressure and burden on their children.
