Analysis of Multilayered Antennas with Slotted Ground for Bandwidth Enhancement

Design and analysis of compact radiator designs for bandwidth enfacement are proposed for Wireless applications. With the slotted ground structure, the bandwidth enhancement is predominant at 15.2GHz and the impedance bandwidth for the band improves from 9.8% to 13.2 %. The parametric analysis is carried out for six aspects of evolutionary antenna designs, which are characterized and investigated in terms of gain, radiation pattern, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio and bandwidth.
