Efficient Communication Deployment with UAV Cluster Based on Task-Driven Method

In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication technology has developed rapidly, and UAV cluster cooperation is widely used in communication deployment scenarios. In this paper, we consider a disaster scenario in which ground communication is interrupted due to the damage of ground base stations. Organize a UAV cluster which wireless access devices are arranged on UAVs to collect data information uploaded by mobile devices equipped with ground search and rescue personnel, and UAV cluster air communication network is established for disaster-stricken areas, so as to achieve the goal of rapid emergency communication. According to the model, the UAV cluster collaborative deployment scheme based on task-driven is designed. The centralized cloud platform is set to realize offline c omputing and UAV deployment. A UAV deployment algorithm based on log linear learning is designed, which works together with UAV coverage utility function to achieve the goal of whole network coverage. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has generality and effectiveness, and has better performance than the optimal selection algorithm, which also confirms the efficiency of problem modeling and solution.
