Textile MIMO Antenna for Ultra-Wide Band Applications

The antennas are an essential part of wireless communication system. Ultra-wide band communication has the high demand for high data rate and low power. Although UWB transmits more information at low energy state, the diffraction and reflection between two interacting antennas cause multipath fading. Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) is used to overcome this disadvantage produced by Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. The task is to layout a textile MIMO antenna which operates at UWB frequency. So, we come up with the structure which is made out of jean material whose $\epsilon \mathrm{r}$ is 1.6 and loss tangent is 0.02. The 'T' shaped stub is made in ground plane to improve port isolation. The antenna has dimensions of $(36 \times 55 \times 1.5)$ mm

and covers better frequency range of 2.2712.33GHz. The proposed antenna was designed using HFSS software.
