Full-Bridge ZCS Boost Resonant Converter

In this paper, a full-bridge current source driven ZCS resonant converter is presented. The proposed converter was derived from ZCS boost converter. Steady state analysis of the proposed converter is described by using state-plane diagram approach. The geometrical properties of the trajectories of normalized inductor current and capacitor voltage in resonant tank circuit in the state-plane diagram are used for deriving the control characteristics and overlapping time, which are essential for designing the proposed converter. However, in order to confirm the analytic work of the converter, the computer simulation is also given.
