Automatic Pencil Sketch Landscape Image Generation From Photograph

This paper presents an automatic pencil sketch landscape image generation form photograph. The algorithm is generating the pencil sketch image based on the Sobel operator. The texture noise is eliminated using the Gaussian low-pass filter. The kernel of the low-pass filter is adaptive based on the tone of the input image. The evaluation of this algorithm was done using the online questionnaire, and the results are expectable by the experts in art and photography.
