Pretest or not to pretest? A preliminary version of a tool for the virtual character standardization

This work-in-progress paper deals with pretesting of the virtual characters in VR psychological experiments. To make pretesting easier, the tool based on the combination of WebGL technology, Unity engine and psychological questionnaire was created. To test its efficacy we asked 13 judges to rate 15 models differing in terms of realism. The results and future directions in the development of the tool are discussed in this paper.
