Analyzing Software Effort Estimation by Applying Static, Single & Multi-Variable Models

One of the indispensable parts of Software Project Management is to estimate the size of the software. The predominant advantage of doing this exercise is that it cooperates with project managers to forecast the overall effort, development time, productivity, and manpower required to complete any project; to a great extent. For this computation, assorted measures are being applied by industries. In this paper, software size estimation practices are examined on two different models as SEL model and the W-F model. Five different projects that are developed in different programming languages are taken as an input to these models. Further, computation of estimation and related analysis has been presented.
