Top-level design of electricity consumption information collection system based on edge computing

With the continuous construction of Power Internet of Things, the data collected by the traditional electricity information collection system showed explosive growth, lead to the original data operation mode couldn’t meet the needs of users and the system. This paper proposes to design a power consumption information collection system based on edge computing, took communication access, task sinking, resource scheduling, and network security as key links under the new architecture, to build a new generation of electricity information collection system network architecture, use mathematical modeling to form the resource scheduling set of the cloud management layer and the network security set of the main station application layer, and use multiple parameters to evaluate the quality of the modeling under the constraint conditions and as the basis for decision-making by the power grid personnel. Through the integration of advanced communication technology, artificial intelligence technology, big data analysis technology, etc. with the new generation of electricity information collection system network, the efficiency of data transmission in the link could be improved, the cost of network channel construction could be reduced, and scientific and reasonable decision-making will realize calculation efficient use of resources to ensure the safety of system operation.
