Dual Filter Characteristics UWB 2×2 MIMO Antenna Analysis with Adjacent/Orthogonal Orientations

In this proposed research, a dual notched band 2×2 MIMO antenna with adjacent/orthogonal orientation is discussed. The designed radiating-antenna is capable of rejecting WiMAX and WLAN interfering bands which are obtained by etching a C-type slot and embedding anchor-shaped stub on the radiating patch with Ω-shaped ground achieving good matching of impedance in ultra-wideband bandwidth. The proposed design is characterized by diverse performance and far-field regions. Results show that the antenna offers permissible values for ECC (Envelope Correlation Coefficient), DG (Directive Gain), and TARC (Total Effective Reflection Coefficient). The designed antenna offers desired radiation patterns in the far-field.
