An Agent Interaction Protocol Language for Describing Group Decision-Making

In this paper, we present a language developed for describing group decision-making among agents. This includes the use of interaction protocols to govern agent interactions towards global decision goals, and rules govern human-agent interactions towards local decision tasks. The Contract-net protocol is used as an example, and a prototype system is implemented to demonstrate the application of the language. The multi-dimensional adaptivity of the method in solving group decision problems is discussed.
